Tickets have now sold out for the Skipton EU debate on Friday 3 June between Ken Clarke MP and Nigel Evans MP, however, there are still some seats available for the debate taking place next week at the Ripon Spa Hotel.
On Thursday 26 May constituents of Skipton and Ripon will have the chance to hear arguments and facts both in favour of Remaining In and Leaving the EU at the Ripon Spa Hotel. Former Skipton and Ripon MP John Watson OBE and columnist and entrepreneur Hugo Dixon will be making the case for remaining in the EU while businessman Alan Halsall and UKIP Thirsk and Malton Chairman Toby Horton will argue to leave the EU.
Julian Smith MP is also calling for constituents to submit questions and topics for the panellists to him in advance of the debates. Anyone interested in posing a question to the speakers can email [email protected] with their question.
Julian Smith said: ‘I want to ensure that the debates are focussed on the topics that matter to you. Whether that is the future of farming and agriculture if Britain were to leave the EU, or what effect it could have on business and the economy, I want to hear from you. These questions will form the core part of the debate. To submit a question, you can email [email protected] or phone my office on 020 7219 4866.’
