Julian met with a multigenerational group of lowland, local farmers in the Boroughbridge area recently.
Julian had the opportunity to hear the current issues facing farmers in the local area. There was a wide range of discussion on the Agricultural Transition Plan, along with the rollout of the Environmental Land Management Schemes. This focused on food security and the importance of domestic food production.
Julian appreciated the attendance of NFU North East and all that they and other associations do for farmers do across the constituency.
