Julian Smith MP joined the team at Clapham-cum-Newby Parish Council who were launching the second stage of their broadband project in Keasden.  

Julian Smith said: 'Congratulations to all the volunteers in the community who have set an excellent example in using local skills to link remote communities to the hyperfast broadband network.  It was amazing to be driven round the 30km of volunteer dug broadband trenches.  All the community's hard work has ensured the fastest broadband speeds I have used.  Well done to everyone involved!'
