Julian Smith MP has met with Horton-In-Ribblesdale, Clapham and Austwick Primary School students in Westminster during their trip to London. The students took part in a tour of the Houses of Parliament and then met with Julian. There were some brilliant questions from pupils about the priorities for this Government and for local communities, what it’s like to be an MP and the challenges faced by the agricultural sector during the Q&A session.
Julian looks forward to forward to welcoming many more schools to Westminster in the coming weeks and encourages all his constituency schools to get in touch with Parliament’s Education Service and take part in the fantastic range of tours that they provide.
