Last week, in Parliament, Julian Smith MP met with a group of year 5 students and teachers from Water Street Community Primary School Skipton to talk to them about his work as an MP.
The group’s visit was facilitated by the Parliamentary Education Centre and over forty pupils and teachers attended.
Julian Smith said: ‘It was fantastic to meet with such an engaged group of year 5 students. I was pleased to be able to answer questions on issues ranging from school uniform to cycle lanes in Skipton. If they had further questions I encouraged them to write via their head teacher so I can make enquiries on their behalf.’
