Last week Julian met with Paul Moran, the CEO of Broughton Software and Broughton Laboratories based just outside Skipton. He was really impressed to hear about the work Paul and his team are doing as well as the opportunities which are being created for young people in the constituency and further afield.
The training program they are running for young professionals wanting to start a career in science is generating some fantastic opportunities and in his meeting with Paul, Julian discussed the ways in which the two companies can reach out to local schools and colleges to promote this career path.
