Julian Smith MP met with Arla employees and local farmers at the Arla site in Settle to tour the creamery and discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by Brexit. They discussed the significance of the UK dairy industry, tariffs and trade and the UK’s dairy deficit.

Julian Smith said: ‘It was a pleasure to be given a tour of the Settle Creamery last week. It was a great opportunity for me to discuss the dairy industry with local farmers and an important employer in our area’
