Julian Smith MP visited Black Sheep Brewery in Masham a few weeks ago to discuss their recent news and any future policy concerns.  He met with both Andy Slee, the Chairman of Black Sheep, and Robert Theakston, the Managing Director.

Chairman, Andy Slee, raised with Julian the Brewery’s concerns around Small Brewers Duty Relief and Julian committed to making representations on their behalf to the Treasury.  

Julian Smith said: ‘It was great to visit the brewery and understand the progress of the business and any future challenges they are anticipating. And I was particularly pleased to have the chance to sample some of the great beer. We are lucky to have a number of great independent brewers in our area.’
