Julian Smith MP visits Farmison & Co

Farmison Visit

Julian Smith MP met with the managing director and co-founder of Farmison & Co, John Pallagi, and his business partner, Lee Simmonds, at their premises in Ripon on Friday to discuss the British meat sector and their work.

Farmison & Co was set up as an online butcher in Ripon in 2011 and offers UK-wide delivery for online orders. Farmison is trying to preserve British heritage beef, pork and lamb breeds and they were named Online Butcher of the Year in 2016 and 2017.

Julian Smith MP said ‘I very much enjoyed my visit to Farmison & Co in Ripon. We discussed their business objectives, the promotion of British meat, and how their work could impact Ripon and the community more widely. I was especially pleased to hear about their plans to move to a new, larger location in Ripon next year.’
