Julian Smith MP visited Ings Primary School in Skipton on Friday 7 October. Mr Smith was shown round the school and met pupils of all ages. Julian Smith also had a long discussion with the excellent headteacher, Donna Makepeace, before meeting with some of the dedicated members of staff there. This included the head chef, who has been at Ings Primary School for over 16 years.
Julian Smith MP said: “I pay tribute to the dedication and focus of all the staff at Ings School who are doing everything they can to turn the school around and to get it back on track. I was impressed by what I saw on Friday and hope to be able to visit them again soon.”
