Julian Smith MP visits The Potter Group

Julian Smith MP visited The Potter Group’s offices in Melmerby last week to meet with their Chairman and Managing Director and hear about the expansion plans for their sites.

The Potter Group is a property company running five industrial estates and employing 15 people. Julian discussed with executive chairman, Derrick Potter and Managing Director, Matthew Lamb, the business’s successful transition from a logistics business to a property company over the last few years.

Julian Smith said: ‘I was delighted to visit this successful family business, and to discuss the ways in which we can continue to support local rural businesses. I was also pleased to hear in more detail about their future plans for expansion in Ripon’
