Julian Smith MP is pleased to celebrate Artsmark Celebration Week alongside the 5 schools in his constituency working towards their Artsmark Award.
Artsmark is the creative quality standard for schools, accredited by Arts Council England, which encourages art, creativity and culture across the curriculum.
North Stainley CE Primary School, Skipton, Greatwood Community Primary School, Carleton Endowed CE Primary School, Christ Church CE Primary School and Skipton, Water Street Community School were all recognised for their commitment to cultural education.
Julian Smith said: ‘I am delighted to support Artsmark Celebration Week, and its efforts to provide children with high quality cultural education and develop their creativity from a young age.’
