Julian visited Settle Stories, meeting with the founder and CEO Sita Brand and Tony Durcan the Chair of Trustees, alongside other team members.
Settle Stories is an independent arts charity which hosts live and online workshops, retreats and learning programmes dedicated to the art of storytelling.
Julian was able to visit the base in Settle, which hosts an impressive performing space, to discuss the upcoming Yorkshire Festival of Story.
The Yorkshire Festival of Story is a rural storytelling festival in the Yorkshire Dales, which will host over 80 free events between the 4th to 27th November with a focus on climate change.
Julian was pleased to see that Settle Stories are able to use the online festival to bring storytelling to so many people within the community and beyond. He looks forward to seeing how the festival goes next month.
