Julian Smith CBE MP met recently with the Manager of Skipton Business Improvement District, Sarah Howson, to get an update on their activities across Skipton and discuss how to further develop their relationship with North Yorkshire Council.
It was also an opportunity to find out about their recently published business plan for 2024-2029, with the BID currently re-balloting levy paying businesses ahead of the ending of their mandate in April next year.
Julian said, “It was great to meet with Sarah and chat about the work that Skipton BID have done in recent months, as well as their long-term plans. If the BID’s mandate is extended, I look forward to continuing to work with them and local businesses to support the Skipton community.”
