Julian is calling for musicians and film makers to enter Parliament’s largest competitions, Rock the House and Film the House.
The competitions, sponsored by industry and supported by celebrity patrons, offer the opportunity for North Yorkshire’s creatives to have their work judged by some of the leading lights of industry.
In 2011, Jen Armstrong from Skipton won the solo title in the Rock the House competition and performed inside Parliament.
Prizes range from festival slots, studio time, equipment and the opportunity to have work premiered in London’s West End.
Julian said:
“Every year these competitions get bigger and better and the opportunities from winning are huge. If you are a budding musician or film maker, I would encourage you to take part in the 2014 competition so your work can be considered by some of the leading industry figures.”
