Julian Smith MP has commented on North Yorkshire County Council’s recent public meeting to discuss the possible closure of Ings Community Primary School.
Julian Smith said: ‘In addition to my conversations with North Yorkshire County Council about the proposal to close Ings Community Primary School, I have been updated on the Council’s recent public meeting to discuss the consultation with the community. My team attended the meeting in my place as Parliament was still sitting.
‘I am pleased to hear that the Council is working hard to support the parents of children at the school through this process.
‘I am here to ensure that everyone who has concerns about the potential closure of the school has their voice heard. I encourage anyone who wishes my support to get in touch.’
