Julian Smith MP has commented on The Skipton Academy’s disappointing Ofsted report, which deemed the school to be ‘inadequate’ in all areas. In recent weeks Julian Smith has spoken to the Regional Schools Commissioner, members of the board of trustees of the school and to other schools involved in supporting Skipton Academy. He will continue such discussions over the summer.
Julian Smith said: ‘I am disappointed to see The Skipton Academy’s recent Ofsted report and I am working closely with the Regional Schools Commissioner for the North and other schools in the area to assist them in turning things around.’
