Sir Julian Smith KCB CBE, MP for Skipton and Ripon, has extended his congratulations to Mallard Grange, The Old Deanery and the Angel at Hetton, three local businesses recently honoured with prestigious awards for excellence in hospitality.
Mallard Grange, a B&B near Ripon, was named the Best B&B in Britain, while The Old Deanery was recognised for its exceptional standards at the annual AA Hospitality Awards. The Michelin starred Angel at Hetton has become the first restaurant in Yorkshire to be awarded five AA Rosettes.
In personal letters to all three businesses Julian commended their dedication to quality service, highlighting their achievement as a shining example of North Yorkshire’s reputation as a premier destination for food, hospitality and tourism.
