Julian Smith MP, Member of Parliament for Skipton and Ripon, has congratulated Skipton Building Society on another strong financial year with record numbers of customers, and for being rated the UK’s top building society for customer experience. It is also great news that gross mortgage lending has increased by 23% to £3.7bn meaning that over 23,000 people were able to purchase or remortgage their properties, including 3,847 first time buyers.
