“Hosting the Grand Depart in Yorkshire is an excellent opportunity for communities along the route to come together and celebrate a once in a lifetime event so I am delighted that Ripon is planning such a vibrant and exciting range of events to mark the occasion.
“I hope that people across the City will get behind Le Tour Ripon – whether by visiting a talk or event, trying out some of the brilliant routes for cyclists across Ripon or basing themselves in the City during the weekend of the Tour de France itself.”
