Skipton and Ripon MP, Rt Hon Sir Julian Smith KCB CBE, is urging residents to participate in the ongoing consultation by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England on redrawing council boundaries in North Yorkshire. The consultation, which runs until 9 December, seeks to ensure fair representation for all communities by aligning councillors with community needs and population size.
"This is a chance for people to shape how their communities are represented," Julian said. "I encourage everyone to get involved and make their voices heard."
