Julian Smith MP, Member of Parliament for Skipton and Ripon, has met with Julia Mulligan, the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire.
At the meeting they discussed a range of issues including Child Sexual Assault Assessment Services in North Yorkshire, the rural policing strategy, and how the police force is working increasingly closely with the other emergency services.
Julian Smith said: 'Julia has been a very hard working PCC and has made a big difference to the scrutiny of policing in North Yorkshire.'
