On Friday, Julian visited Moorside Primary School to speak to pupils from years 5 and 6 about his role as an MP and answer their questions.
After talking about what he does day-to-day as their local Member of Parliament, Julian answered some wide-ranging questions, from dangerous driving to the Government’s proposals on smoking and vaping.
There was also an opportunity for Julian to ask the pupils a variety of questions, where he learned all about their weekend plans and views on swimming!
Julian Smith said, “It was great to visit Moorside and speak to the children about my role as their MP and answer their questions.
“I am grateful to all the teachers and staff for their fantastic work and for inviting me to visit.”
