Julian has welcomed pupils from Ripon Grammar School to Parliament.
The students visited London and had a tour of the Palace of Westminster, including the House of Commons and House of Lords, before meeting with the MP for a question and answer session.
Julian took a range of questions about his role as a Member of Parliament including a discussion about how to become an MP from some of those interested in a career in politics.
He said:
“I enjoyed speaking to pupils from Ripon Grammar School about my work here at Westminster as well as across the constituency and there were a range of excellent questions.
“Making the trip to Westminster is always a memorable experience and I would encourage as many schools as possible to book a visit to Parliament through the excellent Education Service.”
