It has been a busy 4-day bank holiday weekend of celebrations up and down the country to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s 70 years on the throne, which is a remarkable achievement for our longest serving monarch.
Julian was very pleased to attend a number of events over the long weekend to celebrate the occasion.
On Thursday, Julian joined the North Yorkshire Civic Jubilee Celebration Service, which held a very memorable and fitting service at Ripon Cathedral.
In London, Julian had the pleasure of attending the St Paul’s Cathedral Service of Thanksgiving on Friday.
To end the Platinum Jubilee weekend, Julian was invited to the service at the Holy Trinity Church in Skipton. This was a moving service honouring the Queen. Julian was pleased to see a good turnout and it was nice to be able to enjoy the street party with others in Skipton afterwards.
Julian was honoured to attend so many events to remember and give thanks to all the years of dedication the Queen has given to this country and the Commonwealth.
