Julian Smith, Member of Parliament for Skipton and Ripon, has met with the Chair of Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust, Michael Smith, to discuss mental health services provision. He discussed ways in which the trust is providing care in the community for those with mental health issues which include their First Response Initiative which is a service that supports people experiencing a mental health crisis. The service is for people of all ages in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven and works with the patient, their family and other agencies to allow quick access to services that will support a recovery.
