Julian has met with businesses from the Yorkshire Dales National Park to discuss the issues affecting them.
The meeting was organised by the National Park’s business team after the MP committed to supporting firms across the Dales in their efforts to grow and create jobs.
Among the businesses represented were The Traddock in Austwick, Paganum and Airton Farm Shop, Dalesbridge accommodation centre and Grassington-based Cottages4You.
It took place on Friday (14 March) at the National Park’s offices in Grassington.
Julian said:
“It is important we do all we can to support businesses to grow, create jobs and flourish in the Yorkshire Dales and I was keen to hear, at first hand, about the issues the owners and entrepreneurs are facing.
“I congratulate all the businesses I met, and all those who were unable to attend, on their commitment and success after a challenging few years.
“The Government is doing a huge amount to support small and growing businesses but there is always more we can do and, as the Prime Minister’s Small Business Ambassador for Yorkshire, I will be ensuring the challenges that companies encounter are properly reflected at Westminster.
