Julian, along with other members of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Off-Grid Gas, has pledged to continue to raise concerns about the industry on behalf of constituents.
The aim of the APPG, which has just held its AGM, is to work to reduce the costs faced by off-grid customers and provide equal consumer protection to mains gas users.
Julian said:
“This Group is an important way of holding the off-grid gas industry to account and we have made progress at putting the issue on the agenda of Ministers since its formation.
“However, there is much more to do to reduce the inequality faced by those who are not on the national gas grid to ensure they get a fair deal when buying their fuel and dealing with the companies who sell it.
“I will continue to raise the concerns of constituents with the Government and off-grid gas industry in the months ahead.”
