Julian has welcomed the appointment of the new Chief Executive of the Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Ros Tolcher will take over from Richard Ord when he retires in the summer after five years in the role.
It means both hospital trusts serving the Skipton and Ripon constituency will be under the management of female Chief Executives with Bridget Fletcher running Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
Julian said:
“I congratulate Dr Tolcher on her appointment and look forward to hearing about her plans for the future of Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, which includes the management of services at Ripon Hospital.
“Having both the main hospital trusts in the constituency run by highly qualified women who have worked on the front line of the NHS will be a positive for the future of healthcare in Craven and Harrogate.
“I also thank Richard Ord for his dedication to healthcare across the area in his time at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation and wish him good luck for the future.”
