Julian has visited the Kilnsey Park Estate in Upper Wharfedale.
He met with Managing Partner Jamie Roberts and heard about the Estate’s plans to mark the Tour de France Grand Depart in July and about issues that they face as a rural business.
Julian said:
“I enjoyed being able to visit the Kilnsey Park Estate and hearing at first hand from Jamie about the issues and challenges they face.
“Rural businesses like Kilnsey Park play an important role in the economy of Craven and I am committed to doing all I can to support them both now and in the future.
“Kilnsey Park is a prime example of a business seizing the opportunity presented by the Tour de France coming to Yorkshire and I would urge other businesses to think big and make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime event.”
