Julian Smith MP recently met with two Syrian refugee families who have moved to the Craven area as part of the Government’s commitment to resettle 20,000 Syrian refugees by the end of this Parliament.
Julian Smith MP said: ‘I am grateful to the Refugee Council and Craven District Council for arranging the meeting with these two families. It was good to speak to the families about the amazing support they have received from local authorities and from the community, and also to hear about what more can be done to help them.’
