Julian Smith MP visited Craven District Council to meet with the Chief Executive, Paul Shevlin, Leader of the Council, Cllr Richard Foster and Deputy Leader of the Council, Cllr Patrick Mulligan.
Julian Smith MP said: ‘My meeting with Paul and his colleagues was very useful and they were able to raise their concerns with me about a range of policy issues.
‘I have taken their points on board and will, as ever, ensure I represent their policy questions with my colleagues in Government. I was delighted to hear more about the council’s plans for the £4.68 million of funding for Skipton in the recently-announced Growth Deal and I am pleased I was able to help deliver this extra investment for the area.’
