3G access now in Buckden and Hubberholme

Julian Smith MP has welcomed the news Buckden and Hubberholme now have access to the Vodafone 3G service which went live last week.  The villages had suffered from signal issues due to their geographical challenges and after being approached by community champion, Peter Vetch, Julian was pleased to support their application to the Vodafone programme. 

Julian Smith said: 'Since becoming an MP, I have campaigned hard for better phone and internet access for rural areas and over the last six years, we have seen real progress in North Yorkshire.  There is still a long way to go to ensure complete connectivity across our beautiful constituency, but success stories such as this are really positive developments for communities awaiting better phone and broadband access.
