Julian Smith visited the Ripon McDonalds last week to see the newly refurbished restaurant and discuss local investment and jobs.
Julian met with Director and Franchisee, Matthew Middlewood, who showed him round the restaurant and outlined training opportunities and contract options for his new team of employees.
Julian Smith said: ‘I was pleased to hear that Matthew and his team are committed to making a positive impact on the local community. I was impressed by the extensive refurbishment programme and delighted that their expansion has enabled them to create an additional 25 jobs in the restaurant.’
Matthew Midwood said: ‘We were thrilled to have the opportunity to welcome Julian to the new look restaurant and demonstrate the new digital features. I was also proud to highlight the investment we make in training and introduce Julian to members of my hard-working team.’
