Julian Smith MP met this week with 26 year 6 pupils from Carleton Endowed Primary School on a visit to Westminster organised by the Parliamentary Education Centre.
Julian Smith spoke about his role as their constituency MP and his position in Government and they asked a number of very varied questions about Parliament and his job.
Julian Smith said: ‘It was great to be able to meet with a group of such enthused and interested children. I hope they enjoyed their trip and I would encourage other schools in the constituency to get in touch with the Parliamentary Education Centre if they would like to organise a visit.’
