Julian Smith MP attended the screening of Skipton Academy’s student-made film ‘The Greatest School’ at the Skipton Plaza Cinema this weekend.
The film was planned and produced as a school promotional video at the end of Summer Term. It is based on popular film, The Greatest Showman, and features over 100 students and staff.
The primary aim inspire to inspire the students at The Skipton Academy and make them feel proud of the school that they attend.
Julian Smith said: ‘It was great to see the video being launched. It is an excellent representation of all the staff and pupils have been doing at the school, and I was pleased to hear that they are also being featured on BBC Look North.’
