Julian Smith MP has welcomed local schools to Westminster where they took part in workshops and tours of the Palace.
Markington Primary School met with Julian following their tour and took part in a Q&A session with their MP. They discussed a range of issues including the EU Referendum and the Conservative Leadership election.
Julian said: 'I was very impressed by their politcal knowledge and enthusiasm. There were some excellent questions.'
Pupils from Ermysted's School also met Mr Smith while visiting the Houses of Parliament. He joined them at the Education Centre where they were taking part in a workshop where he heard more about their tour and experience of Westminster.
