Julian has been paying close attention to the efforts to restore full television signal following the fire at Bilsdale. It is understood that over 97 per cent of impacted households regionally now have some or all television services back. Yet some households continues to face disruption and so-called ‘not-spot’ areas exist, including within Julian’s constituency.
In some cases, a retune or rescan of the television set may help to restore your television service. Engineering support, however, continues to be available and it is understood that Arqiva has increased its efforts to ensure all residents have television service, particularly given that Christmas is fast approaching. People who are elderly or vulnerable have been prioritised for support.
Households within ‘not spot’ areas have further been sent vouchers, which can be used to buy TV streaming devices in store or online.
