Recently Julian visited agricultural shows in the constituency.
Julian visited a range of the trade stands at the Kilnsey Show, sampling a variety of local produce. Julian also had the opportunity to talk to local farmers and landowners, and enjoyed watching the livestock shows.
Julian spoke to local business owners hosting stalls, discussing the increasing pressures they have been facing over the summer, alongside the anticipation of higher energy costs in the winter months. Julian will be doing everything possible to represent the concerns of small businesses and families about energy costs to the highest levels of government.
Julian also had an excellent time visiting the Nidderdale Show. Julian said, “well done to the committee for rescheduling the show so this fantastic event could go ahead!”
