Julian welcomed the invitation to meet with Chris James-Roll, Headteacher, Rachel Powell, Chair of Governors, and Andrew Midenhall, Governor, for the first time at Cundall Manor School last week.
It was an opportunity to find out more about the school’s plans, as well as discuss recent developments surrounding the charitable status of independent schools.
After a useful meeting, Julian is looking forward to returning to learn more about what pupils have been up to since the start of the academic year.
Julian Smith said, “I’m grateful to Chris, Rachel and Andrew for inviting me to meet with them and talk about recent developments and areas of both potential and concern.
“It’s key that all schools are allowed to deliver the best possible education for their students, and I know that Cundall Manor has a long and proud history of doing just that.
“I look forward to visiting again before too long.”
