Julian visited Skipton Girls’ High School last week at the invitation of the Headteacher, Martha Featherstone.
This follows a trip earlier in the week by some of the students to the Houses of Parliament, which included a Q&A with Julian.
The visit included a tour by some of the school leaders, including an introduction to the Generate Gym, where gym equipment is used to generate electricity to charge the student’s laptops.
Julian Smith said, “I’m grateful to Martha for inviting me to visit Skipton Girls’ High School again.
“Every pupil I met was friendly, confident and bright – an inspiring cohort of girls packed with future leaders.
“I look forward to seeing what they go on to achieve in the years ahead.”
