Julian enjoyed getting hands on today at Whittaker’s Gin in Nidderdale.
Toby and Jane Whittaker, who have run the family business since 2015, gave Julian a tour of the distillery, shop and bar at Harewell House Farm.
Alongside sampling some gin, Julian found out some more about the much-anticipated release of their first batch of whisky in August this year. There was also an opportunity to sign the latest whisky cask and hammer the bung into the cask.
Julian Smith said, “It was great to visit Whittaker’s for a chat about the business and a go at the more practical aspects of the job. Suffice to say, I’m looking forward to the release of their first batch of whisky in August!”
