Rt Hon Sir Julian Smith KCB CBE, MP for Skipton and Ripon, is inviting constituents to share their views on the Chancellor’s recent budget through a new survey on his website. The survey aims to gather feedback from residents on how the budget impacts them personally, as well as their opinions on the government’s approach to key issues affecting the local community.
In light of the recent budget, Julian is keen to ensure that local voices are heard and reflected in ongoing discussions in Parliament. The survey provides a straightforward way for residents across the Skipton and Ripon constituency to share their thoughts and priorities with their MP.
Julian said: “The Chancellor’s budget has a direct impact on people’s daily lives, from support for local businesses to funding for essential services. It is important that I hear from you about what is working, what is not working, and what you feel is needed. Your feedback will guide my work as I represent our community’s interests in Parliament.”
The survey is available on Julian’s website here and is open to all residents. The survey will close at 5pm on 28 November 2024.
