Rt Hon Sir Julian Smith KCB CBE MP has been updated by Northern Rail about service adjustments affecting Yorkshire, Humberside, and Lincolnshire over the Christmas period.
Northern has confirmed that services will be reduced on Sundays, 22 and 29 December, due to several factors affecting train crew availability and planned engineering works.
An amended timetable will operate due to higher sickness absence, annual leave, and voluntary working arrangements for conductors.
Passengers are encouraged to "Check Before You Travel" with real-time updates available on Northern Rail’s website.
Commenting, Julian said: “These changes may inconvenience many passengers, and I will continue to raise constituent’s concerns with Northern to press for improvements that meet the needs of our area.”
