This week is Mental Health Awareness Week.
Earlier this week Julian attended a meeting with the Chair of Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust, Cathy Elliott, about live plans for Lynfield Mount Mental Health Inpatient service which serves the communities of Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.
The Trust are developing plans to modernise the existing mental health facilities. Stakeholder engagement has begun and will involve the local community through consultation on the design and the project’s delivery such as with local apprentices. The plans will also be built with the reduction of carbon footprint in mind.
