Julian enjoyed meeting with Alan Hodges, Chair of the Peacock and Verity Community Spaces Board, which is a community organisation, designed to benefit the people of Masham, Mashamshire and visitors. Julian also met with Jan Reed, Project Manager, and Cllr Val Broadley to talk about the project and their proposals.
During Julian's visit he was saw the outside of No. 15 Silver Street in Masham which they are hopefully planning to convert into a heritage grocers, Edwardian tearoom/bakery, heritage centre with linked activity programme and four affordable one-bedroomed flats for local people.
Julian said 'It was great to talk about the proposals and I very much look forward to seeing the project develop further, which would allow the people of Masham and visitors to enjoy these historic spaces'.
