Julian recently held a meeting with Richard Flinton, Chief Executive of North Yorkshire County Council, about the ongoing review into Outdoor Education Centres, including Bewerley Park. During the meeting, Julian highlighted the importance of the site to many constituents, particularly children and young people.
As part of the review, the Council is continuing engagement on the matters, which will take into account the views of schools, teachers, young people, members of the public and other organisations. The Council will also be looking at proposed models for the site as part of the review.
Julian is continuing to monitor the situation and will look closely at the review’s findings once it concludes.
