Today, Julian visited Skipton’s Craven Cattle Mart to see the working sheep dog sale and speak to members of the team, including Mart General Manager, Jeremy Eaton.
Whilst there, he was joined by Craven College representatives, who showed him the new equestrian facilities, built on the Craven Cattle Mart site by the College.
Julian Smith said, “It was fantastic to visit the Mart today and observe the sale. There were some extremely positive prices achieved for some amazing dogs.
"Today's visit was also a great opportunity to meet with Jeremy Eaton and discuss how many local, regional and online customers join for auctions such as these.
"I was very grateful to everyone who took the time to show me the new equestrian facilities at the site. It is a brilliant collaboration between the Mart and the College that will give generations of riders huge learning opportunities for years to come".
